I paint with acrylics, allowing me to layer and evolve the painting over several weeks. Most of my paintings contain several underlying layers beneath the final piece. This particular piece underwent five distinct paintings before the final layer emerged. Portraying peace was paramount in this painting, necessitating simplification.
