Art gallery and art resale experts, Taren White Gallery focuses on contemporary art as well as the secondary art market with an emphasis on 18th and 19th Century art.

Taren White, the proprietor and director, holds a particular interest in paintings, sculpture, and works on paper originating from the 18th and 19th centuries. Our collection also includes pieces that span a slightly earlier or more contemporary period. 

We also work directly with a small number of artists, notably Claire Desjardins (Quebec) and Holly.O. (Paris).

Taren is the founder of Taren White Gallery. She has run her Paris gallery since 2021, and her online gallery since 2020. She is a contributor to The Paris Independent newspaper with a monthly column dedicated to Arts & Culture. 

Taren, an artist in her own right, follows in the creative footsteps of her mother, Patricia White, and grandmother, Magdalene Purves, both accomplished artists. Taren has a B.A. from the University of Guelph, specializing in Art History.
